SB Capital bags sustainable finance awards


SB Capital Investment Corporation, Security Bank Corporation’s investment arm, was recognized by financial publication The Asset for its participation in various fund-raising activities for refinancing and capital expenditure needs.
During the 2022 The Asset Triple A Country Awards for Sustainable Finance, the investment house was given the “Best Transition Bond” award for its participation as a joint lead underwriter and joint bookrunner for SMC Global Power Holdings Corporation’s P40 billion fixed rate bond.
It also bagged the “Best Local Currency Green Bond” award for being a joint lead underwriter and joint lead bookrunner for ACEN Corporation’s P10 billion ASEAN Green bond.
The Triple A Country Awards for Sustainable Finance has been recognizing the efforts of financial institutions in various countries for more than twenty years.
Considered as the most prestigious award giving body for banking, finance, treasury, and capital markets, it has recognized SB Capital year-on-year since 2019.
