Former PBA guard Boybits Victoria dies at 50

Former PBA star Emmanuel “Boybits” Victoria passed away on Wednesday, March 1 due to a heart attack. He was 50. 

Victoria’s son, Nathan, confirmed the news on social media of the passing of the seven-time PBA champion. 

His children detailed in the post that their father suffered an acute myocardial infarction and was pronounced dead at 6:55 p.m. at San Juan De Dios Manila. 

After being selected by Swift in the 1994 PBA draft, Victoria would go on to win the Rookie of the Year award. 

A product of San Beda from grade school through college, Victoria ended his run in the pro with San Miguel in 2001.
