TACLOBAN CITY – Suspected shabu worth over P2 million was seized and two big-time drug pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, Feb. 28, in Barangay Hiluctogan, Kananga, Leyte.

Police identified the suspects as Voltaire Adorza Recta, 36, and Ruel Petogo Brase, 42, residents of Kananga and listed as high-value individuals (HVI) of the Kananga Municipal Police Station.

The duo was apprehended after they sold shabu to a police poseur-buyer. They yielded 300 grams of shabu valued at P2 million, cash, and a motorcycle.

Suspects and the non-drug evidence were taken to the Kananga MPS for documentation and will be brought to the Special Operation Unit for appropriate filing of cases.

Drug evidence will be sent  to the Ormoc City Forensic Unit (OCFU).
