A Catholic bishop reminded the faithful that God makes all things possible.
Imus Bishop Reynaldo Evangelista reminded Filipino Catholics that faith in God is important.
“Everything is possible to one who has faith,” said Evangelista as quoted by Church-run Radyo Veritas.
“Manampalataya tayo palagi sa Diyos, walang imposible sa Diyos (Always believe in God, nothing is impossible with God) that’s how important faith is,” he added.
Evangelista said that people received the “gift of faith” during their baptism.
“Actually we received three gifts when we were baptized, three supernatural virtues: faith, hope and love,” he said.
The prelate urged Filipino Catholics to continue to show their faith.
“Let us continue expressing our faith and continue praying to God each day that we may gain more graces from Him through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary,” he said.
