Boy Abunda, Ogie Diaz differ on Liza Soberano's career move

Boy Abunda and Ogie Diaz, both successful as talent managers, have different takes on Liza Soberano's latest career move.

Note that Liza recently wiped her social media accounts clean in an effort to seemingly renew her image.

Boy, on his program "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," commended the move, deeming it "brave."

He said: "Liza is taking on ibang direction...Parang bagong direksyon sa kanyang karera. And what is the best way to communicate your new direction to your public than your social media platform? So tinanggal itong lahat at babaguhin ang mukha ng kanyang social media. So this is a rebrand if I have to call it."

Boy continued, saying, "Nais kung purihin kung sino man ang may kagagawan nito because it is brave. And it is exciting for Liza Soberano, who happens to be one of most beautiful girls in the world. And I know her personally and she’s smart. Parang si Quen, Enrique Gil. Both are good-looking and very smart people.”

Ogie, Liza's former manager, thinks otherwise.

History mo ‘yun. ‘Yun ang dati mong mukha, ‘yun ang dating ikaw.”

“Ngayon, kung ito na yung totoong ikaw, e di that’s another chapter in your life, in your career, di ba?

He admitted to feeling a tinge of regret relating to his former ward.
