Pinoy Drag Queen Maxie joins season 2 of 'Queen of The Universe'

Maxie, a drag queen from the Philippines, will compete in the second season of the worldwide drag singing competition "Queen of the Universe."

In the cast reveal of the show, Maxie was announced as one of the contestants for the upcoming season. 

Among the contestants are former "Drag Race Holland" contestant Love Masisi (Netherlands), former "Drag Race Italia" contestant Aura Eternal (Italy), Chloe V (Brazil), Jazell Barbie Royale (United States), Militia Scunt (United States), Miss Sistrata (Israel), Taiga Brava (Mexico), Trevor Ashley (Australia), and Viola (United Kingdom).

The series will premiere on Paramount+ on March 31. The winner of the drag queen singing competition "Queen of the Universe" will receive a $250,000 cash prize.

Maxie posted on her Instagram, giving her warmest thanks to all her supporters for making her dream come true. 

"I have always dreamt of performing on an international stage and I can't believe it's finally happening!!! I have been waiting for this all my life!" Maxie wrote in her caption. 

The previous winner of the competition was Grag Queen from Brazil, with Ada Vox from the U.S. finishing as the runner-up.
