Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez said the city government is very much willing to tie up with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) for the implementation of eGov Super App.
Olivarez welcomed Undersecretary for e-Government David Almirol Jr. during his visit to his office and expressed his willingness to be the first city to have the eGov Super App, a one-stop platform that aims to accelerate transactions and processing of all the services of the local and national government.
During the presentation conducted by the DICT, the mayor was joined by his wife, Aileen Olivarez, City Administrator Voltaire Dela Cruz, Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) chief Atty. Melanie Soriano-Malaya, Public Information Office (PIO) officer-in-charge Catalino Alano Jr., and Information Technology Development Department head Atty. Mark Espinosa.
The mayor said he’s very excited to have the eGov Super App in the city for easy business transactions and registrations, corruption reduction and transparency in local government unit, among others.
Olivarez said the application will also help the city government announce important activities and projects.
He said the citizens may just download the eGov Super App to have an access.
