2 NPA rebels in Central Luzon surrender


CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Two New People’s Army rebels surrendered to authorities in Central Luzon over the weekend.

“Ka Tito,” a member of an underground mass organization affiliated with the National Democratic Front (NDF), turned over a homemade shotgun with two ammunition and two rifle grenades in Aurora.

“Ka Tibbey” of the Yunit Paniktik of the Komiteng Larangan Gerilya Tarlac-Zambales yielded a hand grenade, caliber .38 revolver with no serial number, and five ammunition in Olongapo City.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Cesar Pasiwen urged remaining supporters of the communist movement to surrender and make the country free from any kind of terrorism.
