The Aquastra: Solar-Powered Drip Irrigation System built by Guillane Marie Agreda, Chara Louise Joven, and Francheska Marie Loreña seeks to address the perennial problem of drought.

They developed a working model of a solar-powered drip irrigation system. Monggo seeds planted in a box were irrigated by two solar panels running the system.

The project was part of the culminating activity of their subject on Fundamentals of Earth Science II-Meteorology and Climate Science taught by teacher Vicente Armones IV.
