The 300 gave G2 Blacklist a rude welcome to the Wild Rift scene, essaying a dominant 2-0 sweep of the newly formed squad in the upper bracket of the PH qualifier for the first season of the Wild Rift League Asia on Friday, Feb. 17.

Composed of the remnants of the RRQ Philippines team which represented the country in last year’s Icons Global Championship, The 300 displayed its veteran experience and lorded over its opposition to set up an upper bracket finals clash with Nigma Galaxy.

The 300 actually had to buck a slow start as G2B took an early 4-1 lead and held the lead for 19 minutes before The 300 managed to turn things around in just one clash.

The Rumble Royale-backed The 300 squad initiated a clash when G2B tried to threaten for a contest on its Dragon take and caught its opponents in a compromised position to score a three-man wipe. It was all The 300 from there as it scored a 13-7 win in 27 minutes of play.

Charles “Chazz” Esguerra posted an impeccable 6-0-5 line on the Kha’Zix pick while Eric “Exosen” Gubatan added a 0-2-12 line on the Galio pick.

Riding the momentum of the series opening win, The 300 showed no letup cruising to a 14-8 wire-to-wire finish in Game 2.

G2B now takes on Fennel Adversity in the lower bracket where the winner will be facing up against the loser between the 300 and Nigma Galaxy in the upper bracket for one of the two WRL Asia slot.
