An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) was “sold” by her original employer to another Kuwaiti, where under whose care she was reportedly raped, in another case of abuse suffered by Filipinas in the Middle Eastern country.
After the United States and Japan, Canada and Germany have joined the roster of nations which have called out China for the reported blinding laser incident at the Ayungin Shoal committed by the Chinese Coast Guard against its Filipino counterpart.
Meanwhile, Chinese fishermen rescued two Filipino fishermen from Occidental Mindoro, who went adrift at the West Philippine Sea for 12 days after their boat ran out of fuel in the waters off Palawan.
PhilHealth announced that it was expanding its hemodialysis coverage from 90 to 156 sessions.
