Tony Rizkallah, senior director for operations, echoed the commitment of iQor President and CEO Gary Prazn to give job opportunities to Iloilo residents.

Rizkallah said there is room for more growth as Iloilo is a key to the iQor business worldwide.

iQoR officials said they may expand its five locations in Metro Iloilo.

The BPO had a workforce of around 4,000 in Iloilo in seven years.

Rizkallah said that Iloilo has been a conducive BPO location for having a viable workforce with several universities, a reliable transportation system, and connectivity to the world.

iQor obtained the Great Place to Work Certification after an independent survey conducted by Great Places to Work measured a fair and just work environment.

Roselle Lao, iQor director of talent acquisition for Visayas and Mindanao, said that the certification is proof that iQor pushes for the well-being of its employees that can open doors even to people with varied backgrounds.

One of them is Marcelino Nicavera. From a security guard, he became a call center agent.
