Seventeen and Aespa won the grand prizes (“daesang”) on the second day of the 2024 MAMA Awards held on Nov. 23 in Japan.

MAMA is a popular music awards ceremony hosted by Mnet.

Seventeen won the Visa Album of the Year for “Seventeenth Heaven” and the Visa Artist of the Year. Last year, they won Album of the Year.

Aespa took home the Song of the Year for “Supernova.”

“Thank you MY&MAMA,” Aespa posted on X after receiving the award.

On the first day of the awards ceremony, BTS’ Jimin won the Visa Fans’ Choice of the Year.

Big Bang’s G-Dragon performed at the ceremony together with Daesung and Taeyang.

The 2024 MAMA Awards ceremonies were held in the US and Japan.
