Flowers are ideal gifts to give at any time of the year, in particular, Valentine’s Day.

Fresh flowers are beautiful with their vibrant colors, delicate appearances, and fragrant aroma, but there are also other types of flowers that would live longer to carry the message of love and affection.

Here are four alternative forms of flowers that manifest everlasting love—because they won’t wilt in a week and will last a lifetime, or almost.

Dried flowers are one way that can keep the look and feel of fresh flowers without having to worry about them wilting or dying. It’s also a perfect for people who are allergic to pollen.

Flowers that are dried naturally will retain their original colors and shapes.

Crochet is a form of creating patterned fabric by interlocking loops of yarn, thread, or strands of materials using a needled hook. Sounds like a lot of work, but just imagine someone making the effort to crochet you flowers for Valentine’s?
