The Tokyo Olympics bronze medalist went to work early by knocking down Villalba in the opening round with a vicious body shot before sending his opponent twice on the canvas in the second round.

A powerful right hook finished Villalba before the referee stopped the match at the 48-second mark.

Showing his prowess that established him as one of the promising pro fighters to date, Marcial kept his record unscathed at 4-0 with two knockouts.

Villalba, fighting for the first time at 162 pounds, dropped to 20-8-1 including eight KOs.

The bout was part of the undercard of the Rey Vargas vs O’Shaquie Foster fight.
