Las Piñas gov’t holds feeding program for 600 children


The Las Piñas City government conducted a feeding program for children in Barangay BF International CAA on Friday, Feb. 10

Mayor Imelda Aguilar said about 600 children were provided with nutritious “almondigas”, a noodle soup dish with meatballs and patola, pandesal, and bottled water.

She said toys from Ronald Mcdonald House Charities were also distributed to children during the feeding program.

The mayor said the activity was organized by the City Nutrition Office headed by Dr. Julio Javier II.

Aguilar said the feeding program is part of her administrations effort address malnourishment among children in the city.

She said the “Kusina ng Las Piñas” mobile roams around the city to give nutritious food to children.
