The online survey for two semesters of 2022 was conducted by Police Regional Office region 6’s Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADO).

The Western Visayas cops got admirable ratings in all five measured parameters.

PRO-6 scored 4.78 for safety index, 4.82, for respect index, 4.78 for trust index, 4.74 for police-community activities, and 4.74 for the effectiveness of information operation.

A total of 22,794 individuals from Aklan, Antique Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental provinces as well as the highly urbanized cities of Iloilo and Bacolod participated in the survey.

“We are thankful for the trust and confidence given by the community here in Western Visayas,” said Brigadier General Leo Francisco, PRO-6 director.

“We are very happy that we surpassed the rating of the same survey conducted in 2016, which only yielded satisfactory results,” said Major Mary Grace Borio, PRO-6 spokesperson.

Meanwhile, PRO-6 is planning to have a third-party conduct the survey this year.
