The Pateros municipal government announced that starting Feb. 1, a new schedule in the collection of garbage will be implemented.
In addition, it will implement a waste segregation scheme for biodegradable and non-biodegradable items.
People can put out their biodegradable garbage every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and for the non-biodegradable waste, the schedule is every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
The municipal government said non-compliance will be a violation of an ordinance with a fine of P1,000 and non-collection of garbage.
