MB Daily News Update: Consumers reel from whopping P11.20-increase per kg on LPG

After 28 years, Metro Manila’s mayors have finally agreed to adopt a single-ticketing system for traffic violations, ending the confusion over conflicting traffic rules and regulations in the National Capital Region (NCR) which has been the subject of complaints of motorists.

President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. goes on a working visit to Tokyo, Japan, on Feb. 8 to Feb. 12, 2023, in another bid to gather more investments for the country.

Consumers are bracing for a whopping P11.20 increase per kilogram of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) that will translate into a so-called “super spike” of as much as P123-increase for every tank of LPG.

Details of these important stories are but a click away in the MB Daily News Update this Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 1, 2023.

PET-FRIENDLY -- Commuters may now bring their pets, particularly cats and dogs, with them when riding the Light Rail Transit 2 (LRT-2), which is the east-west line that travels through Manila, San Juan, Quezon City, Marikina, Pasig, and Antipolo. This notice at the LRT-2 Recto Station in Manila says that fur parents should use the correct carriers when bringing their pets with them. (Juan Carlo De Vela)
