The Manila Water company announced a new set of schedules for water service interruptions in some areas of Quezon City, San Juan City, Mandaluyong City, Manila, Antipolo City, and Taytay in Rizal from Tuesday, Jan. 24, to Friday, Jan. 27.
Due to line maintenance operations, the water service in parts of Barangays Tandang Sora, and Culiat in Quezon City will be affected from 10 p.m. on Jan. 24 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 25.
Within the vicinity of Mandaluyong and San Juan City, the following areas will also be affected, from 10 p.m. on Jan. 24 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 25, due to line meter and strainer declogging activities:
- Parts of Barangay Kabayanan (F. Blumentritt, F. Manalo, V. Angeles, A. Diego, A. Bonifacio)
- Parts of Barangay Maytunas (P. Guevarra, Mariano Marcos, Aurora, V. Cruz, Del Pilar, Smuth, Maude, Allenby, Barcelona, Argonne)
- Parts of Barangay Addition Hills in Mandaluyong (Guerrero, Araullo, Gomezville, Balagtas)
- Parts of Barangay Addition Hills in San Juan (Hoover, P. Guevarra, Argonne, L. George, O. Arellano, Montessori Lane)
- Parts of Barangays Kabayanan in San Juan (F. Blumentritt, V. Angeles, A. Diego) and Onse (A. Bonifacio)
From 10 p.m. on Jan. 24 to 5 a.m. on Jan. 25, parts of Barangays 770 up to 775 in San Andres, Manila will experience water interruptions due to a scheduled line maintenance.
Parts of Barangay San Isidro in Taytay, Rizal will have their line maintenance operations scheduled at 11 p.m. on Jan. 24 until 5 a.m. on Jan. 25.
From 10 p.m. on Jan. 25 to 6 a.m. on Jan. 26, interconnection activities will affect water service in portions of Barangays Mayamot and Bagong Nayon in Antipolo City, Rizal.
In Mandaluyong City, line meter replacement activities will be done in parts of Barangays Barangka Ilaya, Barangka Itaas, Barangka Ibaba, and Barangka Drive beginning at 10 p.m. on Jan. 25 to 5 a.m. on Jan. 26.
Meanwhile, parts of Barangays Daang Bakal (Haig, Gen. Kalentong, Romualdez) and Harapin ang Bukas (Gen. Kalentong, New Panaderos Extension) in Mandaluyong will have service interruption due to line meter and strainer declogging from 10 p.m. on Jan. 26 to 4 a.m. on Jan. 27.
The water concessionaire strongly advised residents to store adequate supply of water during these dates.
