‘The Glory’ part 2 confirmed for release on March 10 


The Korean drama “The Glory,” starring Song Hye-kyo and Lee Do-hyun, has been confirmed to start its part 2 in March.

“The Glory” tells the story of a woman with a broken soul due to childhood violence and dedicates her life to a meticulous web of vengeance to all the accomplices who brought her childhood nightmare.

Netflix announced that part 2 of “The Glory” will be released on March 10.

Part 1 was released on Dec. 30. “The Glory” has recorded a total of 148 million hours watched, ranked within the top 10 charts for three weeks in a row.

It stayed in the top 10 list in 34 countries and regions on Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English TV list, once again proving the standing of K-contents in the world.

“If you’ve watched Part 1, you won’t be able to resist Part 2. Part 2 is refreshingly satisfying and shockingly intense,” said writer Kim Eun-sook.

Director An Gil-ho said, “The fight between Dong-eun and Yeon-jin really takes off and the perpetrators dynamically meet their end. You won’t be able to take your eyes off of the screen. All elements of the story will now come full circle.”

On the Netflix chart for Jan. 9 to 15, “The Glory” part 1 is No. 1 in the Philippines.
