Man facing 40 counts of qualified theft nabbed in Quirino


AGLIPAY, Quirino -- A former liaison officer of a car company was arrested by joint operatives from Quirino and Aglipay Police at Purok 4, San Leonardo, Aglipay on January 17.

Joint operatives from Quirino police led by Major William Agpalza and Aglipay Police Station arrested alias Jun (police withheld the name), 35, a former liaison officer of Toyota, Cordon branch and a resident of Purok 3, Brgy. San Leonardo, Aglipay, Quirino.

The warrant of arrest, coursed through the E-warrant system, was issued by Hon. Efren Mangosing Cacatian, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Second Judicial Region, Branch 35, Santiago City dated January 11, 2023 for 40 counts of qualified theft.

The accused was brought to Aglipay Police for documentation prior presentation to the court of origin.

Colonel Agusto P Bayubay, Provincial Director, commended the personnel of Aglipay Municipal Police Station for their accomplishment.

He also encouraged the populace to support the PNP’s trust and programs to ensure the maintenance of peace and order and public safety in the province.
