The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Rizal Provincial Statistical Office has opened Antipolo City's first Civil Registry System (CRS) outlet as part of its efforts to streamline the issuance of documents to its citizens.
Antipolo City Mayor Jun Ynares shared photos of the facility's launch on his official Facebook page on Monday, Jan. 16. The outlet is located inside the Antipolo Triangle Mall in Sumulong Memorial Circle.
Ynares said that with the opening of the CRS outlet, residents of Antipolo will no longer need to go to other towns in Rizal to request for their personal documents such as birth, marriage, and death certificates. They can also request for certificate of no marriage (CENOMAR) from the outlet.
According to the PSA, the Civil Registry System - Information Technology Project (Phase II) (CRS-ITP2) will involve the computerization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and is designed to collect, access, store, maintain, and manage civil registry documents and the specimen signatures of all city and municipal registrars using imaging technology.
The CRS-ITP2 will also include production of vital statistics and make the civil registry services available nationwide through the CRS outlets and other authorized partners.
Ynares said the outlet can release the client's requested certificates on the same day with no service fee.
Additional details about Antipolo's CRS outlet and other services of PSA - Rizal Provincial Statistical Office can be found in its official Facebook page.
