Portions of Angono and Antipolo City to experience water service interruptions on Jan. 16-18


Manila Water announced that portions of Angono, Rizal and Antipolo City will experience water service interruptions from Monday, Jan. 16 to Wednesday, Jan. 18.

The service interruptions at the Lower and Upper Sakura areas in Barangay Mahabang Parang in Angono, Rizal will start from 10 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 16 until 4 a.m. on the following day, Tuesday, Jan. 17.

Manila Water's latest service advisory said that the scheduled service disruption is due to its valve maintenance works along Mahabang Parang.

In Antipolo City, areas located along Sumulong Highway will be affected by the eight-hour service interruption, from 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17 until 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18.

The affected areas include some parts of Barangay Mambugan and several areas along Sumulong Highway in Barangay Sta. Cruz, particularly all residential and commercial establishments from Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club to Ruhat 3 Lower and Upper; Metroview Ridge Estates, Valley of Sympathy Memorial Park; Lopez Inc.; College of San Benildo; Meralco Manpower Academy; and San Pedro Calungsod Parish; Our Lady of Fatima University; Fatima University Medical Center; Eugenio Lopez Center; Cloud 9 Sports and Leisure Club, and Padis Point.

Manila Water pointed out that the scheduled line maintenance activities in Barangay Mambugan, Antipolo City was the reason for the service interruptions.

Affected customers are advised to coordinate with Manila Water for updates or other concerns.
