With the public already feeling the pinch of the high prices of onions, the government is stepping in by ordering 21,060 metric tons of the produce.
Resigned Department of National Defense (DND) officer-in-charge Jose Faustino Jr. confirmed that the sudden change of leadership at the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) was his reason for stepping down. And it seems the problems at the DND aren’t over after its spokesman said there were other officials also contemplating on resigning from their posts.
