Two brothers, two pals yield P170,000 worth of shabu in Negros buy-bust

BACOLOD CITY - Policemen arrested two brothers and their two friends in a buy-bust operation wherein 25 grams of shabu worth P170,000 were also confiscated at Purok Indian Mango, Barangay 6, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Police identified the subject as Karl Marlon Gebusion, 20, of Barangay 6.

Gebusion’s 18-year-old brother, a student, and their friends Philip John Alvarez, 23, also of Brgy. 6, and Mark Jezer Gilvero, 26, of Barangay 9, were also apprehended in the operation.

Lt. Col. Alvimar Flores, Kabankalan police chief, said they launched the operation against Gebusion after he was identified by some previously arrested drug suspects as their alleged source of shabu.

Flores said the brothers’ two friends were alleged runners who delivered the illegal drugs.

The four suspects are street level individuals, according to the police.

Police also recovered from them the P500 marked money, an improvised tooter, and P800.

Flores said the illegal drugs were allegedly sourced out from Bacolod.
