Suzette Doctolero on bashers of 'Voltes V Legacy' teaser: 'Manood muna bago mag Maritess'

GMA head writer Suzette Doctolero took to social media recently to address naysayers concerning the "Voltes V: Legacy" teaser.

On Facebook, Suzette advised critics to watch the TV series first before passing judgment.

"On V5. May reaction: bakit may love story at agawan?

(V5 ang  topic dito ha)," she added.

According to her, the live adaptations cater to a wider range of audiences.

Imposibleng wala!," she reiterated.

Lols."

She pointed out: "Iba ang anime sa live adaptations. Kasama sa pagsusulat ng live adaptations ang adjustment na gawin silang tao as much as possible. Tao, okey? Hindi cartoons."

"Manood at saka maghusga.

Recall that when the the trailer was released, Suzette was among those who shared it, writing: "We don’t care kung ano ang sabihin ng mga nega, pero kami sa Gma ay laging sumusubok ng bago (madapa man o manalo) para sa inyong lahat. Audience ang laging panalo dapat!"

Suzette also shared what Michael V. wrote about "Voltes V: Legacy."

"Just finished watching the #VoltesVLegacy Mega Trailer… kinilabutan ako sa ganda! This is my childhood coming to reality!," Michael V.  wrote on Facebook.

Michael V. maintained: "Marami pa rin ang mga nagpapanggap at hindi matanggap na kaya nang gawin ‘to ng network with the right tools, right people and a ton of passion."

In any case, he assured: "Basta ako, sa trailer pa lang na ‘to SOLD na ako! You made me travel back to my childhood and relive a feeling that has long been waiting to be rekindled. I’m looking forward to that feeling in every episode."

Michael V. ended: "To all the fans and the bashers, this show is for you! Happy 2023!"

In another post, Suzette also proudly re-shared a post containing Japanese reactions about the trailer.
