Finally! BLACKPINK’s Jisoo to make solo debut 


BLACKPINK member Jisoo will finally make her solo debut.

YG Entertainment announced on Jan. 2 that Jisoo is preparing for the release of her solo album.

Fans have demanded information from YG Entertainment about Jisoo’s solo debut following her “Snowdrop” drama.

“In 2020, @ygent_official promised that @BLACKPINK’s #JISOO would make her SOLO DEBUT after Snowdrop finished filming. We have heard NOTHING! #BLINKS demand an UPDATE on the status of Jisoo's OVERDUE solo debut! Wae need JISOO SOLO UPDATE asap!” according to a tweet by fans.

Jisoo is the last member of BLACKPINK to make a solo debut after Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa.

“BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently accelerating the recording of her solo album,” said YG Entertainment.

It added, “While she has been busy with the world tour schedule since last year, she has been working on music in her spare time after completing jacket photo shoots to keep her promise with fans.”

BLACKPINK embarked on their “Born Pink” world tour in October, performing in North America and Europe.

This year, they will take the world tour to Asia and Oceania.
