Steve “Dale” Vitug and his Falcon Esport split their first two games in the tournament, falling down against Incendio Supremacy in the first game before bouncing back with a big comeback win over John Michael “Zico” Dizon’s Burn x Flash.

The Burmese crew suffered a rout against INC with a 3-16 loss. INC earlier lost to Blacklist International in its debut.

Falcon looked like it was about to suffer the same fate against the Cambodian champion Burn X Flash that aside from coach Zico also featured gold laner Jhonwin “Hesa” Vergara but the crew managed to survive a huge siege.

Falcon then soared to victory with a five-man wipe in the next clash at the 20th minute to score their first win of MLBB’s crowning tournament.

However, Burn X Flash is reportedly set to protest the result of their game as a bug occurred during the final clash. It appeared that there was a visual bug in the interaction between the skills of Kosal “ATM” Piseth’s Fredrinn pick and Min “Naomi” Ko’s Grock.

The Grock managed to use its Power of Nature ultimate to escape in the clash just at the right time it was supposed to be taunted by Fredrinn’s Energy Eruption. Naomi’s Grock waled for a couple of more seconds before it was pulled back by the taunt making it look like the Grock already used his flicker.

Meanwhile, Indonesian powerhouse Onic Esports suffered a stunning upset against Malaysian crew Todak,12-14. Filipino star jungler Kairi paced the MPL ID champions with a 6-3-3 line on the Fanny.
