BTS’ J-Hope, TXT ring in the New Year at Times Square, Disneyland 


K-pop artists BTS’ J-Hope and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) ushered in the New Year in the US with performances at the iconic Times Square in New York City and Disneyland Park in California.

J-Hope and TXT were invited to perform at the annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve celebration on Dec. 31.

The New Year’s Rockin’ Eve was held at Times Square in New York City, New Orleans; Los Angeles and Puerto Rico.

Times Square was the main venue of the celebration. J-Hope performed “= (Equal Sign),” "Chicken Noodle Soup" and “Butter (Holiday Remix).”

It was hosted by Ryan Seacrest along with Liza Koshy and Jessie James Decker. Other performers at Times Square were Duran Duran, Jax and New Edition.

On Dec. 31, 2019, BTS performed at the event at Times Square.

In addition, TXT performed at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in Disneyland Park along with with Ciara, who was also a co-host, Aly and AJ, Bailey Zimmerman, Ben Platt, Fitz and The Tantrums, Halle Bailey, Lauren Spencer-Smith, Maddie & Tae, Shaggy and Wiz Khalifa.

TXT performed “‘0X1=LOVESONG (I Know I Love You) feat. Seori” and “Good Boy Gone Bad.”
