‘Be responsible enough,’ police tell 246 gun owners who availed of LTOPF caravan in Lucena City


LUCENA CITY – Police are reminding gun owners that the safety of the neighborhood is still important, hence the need for them to be responsible enough when keeping and using guns.

Police issued the reminders after 246 gun owners availed the services of the License to Own and Possess Firearms (LTOPF) caravan at SM City here on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 8.

The two-day LTOPF caravan which started on Sept. 7 was initiated by the Lucena City Police headed by Lt. Col Reynaldo Reyes.

The program was meant to conveniently accommodate the renewal of licenses and registration of firearms holders in the city.

The personnel of the Regional Civil Security Unit (RCSU) headed by its chief administrator, Capt. Rowena DS Reyes, handled the processing of the applicants’ documents.
