All the stunning looks Catriona Gray wore at Binibining Pilipinas 2022

That pair of earrings truly made a statement

 Apart from being a celebration dedicated to women, pageantry, in the past years, has also become an avenue for Filipino fashion designers to shine. A testament to that is the recently-concluded Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant’s coronation night last July 31, Sunday. Not only did its candidates present stunning locally-made gowns on the stage, but its female-duo hosts, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and Bnibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016 Nicole Cordoves, also put Filipino style in the spotlight by wearing contemporary and elegant Filipino creations.

It is not new for Catriona to be a staunch supporter of Filipino fashion. And if you are still dreaming about their look, here’s a rundown of all the Filipino designs Catriona wore on the Binibining Pilipinas stage. 

First is Catriona’s pair of Mjorian attention-grabbing earrings inspired by the Pintados.

For the evening gown competition, the former Miss Universe donned an elegant emerald number.

Catriona brought class and romance by wearing an ankle-length bridal dress with floral sculptures by Jaggy Glarino.

She ended the grand coronation by announcing the winners while wearing a corseted evening gown with a graphic print by Jaggy Glarino.

The national pageant’s new queens are Nicole Borromeo (Binibining Pilipinas International 2022), Gabrielle Basiano (Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2022), Chelsea Fernandez (Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2022), and Roberta Tamondong (Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2022) with Nicole Budol and Stacey Gabriel as first and second runners-up, respectively.
