It can be accessed at coopbiz.ph.

The "Co-opbiz" is an e-commerce site where duly registered Filipino cooperative members can introduce and sell their products to the local and global market chain, said CDA in a report posted on their website.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Undersecretary for Digital Philippines Maria Victoria C. Castro and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Regional Operations Group Assistant Secretary Demphna Du-Naga did the "first ceremonial purchases" using the new online marketplace.

“CDA is also about developmental. We will make sure that our presence will be felt, this is the direction of our institution,” CDA Chairman Joseph B. Encabo said.

Encabo also encouraged the cooperative members to respond proactively to the advancement of technology as well as to take advantage of the presence of DTI, DICT, and other private sectors to help them strengthen the sector.

A CDA report in October 2021 said that this project was made to revive the cooperative sector in the country which was extremely affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. (Luisa Cabato)
