3,593 students from Pasay City private schools receive financial aid


A total of 3,593 students from private schools in Pasay City, who qualified as “Travel Scholars”, received financial assistance amounting to P4,000 each.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano along with the city councilors distributed the financial assistance to the beneficiaries at the Cuneta Astrodome on March 17.

Rubiano said a total financial aid is part of her administration’s HELP (Health and Housing; Education, Economic Growth and Environment; Livelihood and Lifestyle; Peace and Order; Palengke (market) and Pamilya (family) priority agenda.

According to the Public Information Office (PIO), elementary and high school students will receive P4,000 each upon enrolment while those in colleges will get P4,000 every semester.

The mayor said the city government released the cash aid to help the students cope with the requirements in their study.
