Solarius Energy’s sister company, Solarius EV, recently announced plans to launch a network of nationwide public EV charging stations. Solarius hopes to provide EV owners convenient and cost-effective charging while providing a viable business model for location partners. Their target is to have 60 locations energized by the end of first quarter of 2023, expanding to 180 charging stations by the end of 2023 and more than 500 by 2025. Charging will be as easy as scanning a QR code at the station to initiate a charging session.
“Solarius EV Charging’s mission is to eliminate range anxiety for EV drivers by building a world-class, nationwide network of ‘destination’ EV charging locations” said Peter Wilson, CEO.
Qualified location partners are eligible for free charging stations and Solarius is looking forward to partner with resorts and hotels nationwide, so more EV owners can enjoy the benefits of EV ownership while being able to drive out of town with no range anxiety. Solarius also offers EV charging solutions for condos and apartments for tenants to be able to conviently charge at home. Solarius also offers sustainable solar EV charging solutions for businesses and private residences.
The Fairmont Raffles Hotel in Makati is Solarius’ first location partner in Metro Manila to provide EV charging facilities for its guests. “We are happy to partner with Solarius EV Charging as we share the same vision of promoting clean energy and providing convenience to our EV driving guests. We look forward to launching and setting into motion more sustainability milestones aligned with our Planet 21 thrust”, said Ms. Aubrey Ada, Raffles Fairmont Hotel Makati’s Hotel Manager.
You can download the Solarius app from both Apple App store and Google Play, this allows you to see charging costs before charging starts. Methods of payment are credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and also G-Cash, PayMaya and Western Union.
