Sandro bares his football GOAT as Argentina wins World Cup

Looks like the football GOAT (greatest of all time) debate is already over for Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos.

Marcos posted a photo of Argentinian football superstar Lionel Messi before dawn Monday, Dec. 19, just minutes after the side's World Cup championship victory in a riveting final against the Kylian Mbappe--led France.

The photo uploaded by Marcos showed Messi holding a baby goat. The neophyte solon also captioned the photo with three goat emojis.

While the presidential son didn't write anything else, his post appears to be testimonial on Messi's status to many football fanatics as the GOAT of the sport.

Messi's World Cup victory also creates separation between him and his rival-contemporary, Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal. Ronaldo is just as revered as the Argentinian.

Messi scored two goals in the win against France--a back-and-forth match that was ultimately decided via penalty shootout.

Marcos, 28, is a senior deputy majority leader in the House of Representatives.
