Taytay LGU reroutes traffic in Tiangge area

Bargain hunters trooping to the Taytay Tiangge (bazaar) in Taytay, Rizal should expect changes in the flow of vehicular traffic on the roads leading to the bazaar area as the municipal government has implemented a traffic scheme from Dec.16 to 31.

Rizal Governor Nina Ricci Ynares announced on her official Facebook page that the municipal government of Taytay has started implementing a traffic rerouting scheme at the Tiangge area on Don Hilario Cruz, Taytay starting Dec. 16.

The public service announcement of Gov. Ynares stated that the Taytay Bayan to the tiangge area is a one-way road from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.

Also affected in the new traffic scheme are the Manila East Road, Hi-Way 2000, Angono and Taytay.

Traffic flow in the vicinity of the bazaar is usually during the Christmas season as thousands of shoppers troop to Taytay to hunt for bargain clothes and other items.
