Four drug pushers busted in Apayao, Abra buy-busts

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet -- Four drug personalities were arrested during separate anti-illegal drugs operations of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera in the provinces of Apayao and Abra on Saturday, Dec. 17.

PRO Cordillera director Brig. General Mafelino Bazar said operatives of Conner Municipal Police Station in Apayao arrested Aileen Dappay Bali, 43, Francisca Follo Bangngay, 37, and Guadles Follo Marquez, 32, who are all residents of Barangay Caglayan, Conner Apayao and target drug suspects in the implementation of search warrant.

Bazar said that in the course of operation, the operatives discovered four plastic sachets of shabu weighing more or less 0.45 grams with a Standard Drug Price of P 3,060 and one opened plastic sachet containing residue of suspected shabu.

In Abra, drug pusher Emmanuel Delos Santos Sabado, 24, was arrested by the joint operatives of Abra PPO Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Bangued Municipal Police Station (MPS) after he sold eight sachets of shabu weighing more or less 12 grams with a SDP of P85,000 during a buy-bust operation in Bangued, Abra.

The inventory of the pieces of evidence recovered was conducted on-site in the presence of the arrested suspect and witnesses that included Prosecutor Sigrid Canawil, DOJ representative; Barangay Kagawad Reynante Blanes Burto and media representative.
