The Taguig City government reported that 875 people were vaccinated against Covid-19 in the past week.
In a report, the city government said the 875 individual received their vaccines from Dec. 12 to 16, compared to 928 who were inoculated from Dec. 5 to 9.
Of the 875, 48 adults received their first dose while 75 got their second dose. In addition, 353 received their first booster shot and 304 were given their second booster.
Among 12 to 17 years old, 13 were given their first dose, 16 their second dose and 25 their first booster shot.
A total of 15 five to 11 years old got their first dose and 26 received their second dose of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the city government recorded 17 new cases of Covid-19 from Dec. 4 to 10. It said 259 recovered from Covid-19 and four died.
Fifty individuals were admitted in Taguig hospitals during the period, equivalent to 22.92 percent bed occupancy rate, or low utilization rate.
According to the city government ,Taguig recorded a 2.26 average daily attack rate (ADAR) per 100,000 people.
Based on the ADAR, Taguig’s risk classification is low risk, the city government said.
