The workers were gathered in an area far from the two trucks.

Batadlan said the workers were supposed to load sugarcane on the trucks, when armed men burned the machines of the vehicles and fled.

Batadlan said that it was the first time that such an incident happened to the truck owner, who is one of the biggest landowners in the town.
