Head in the Clouds (HITC) Manila’s two-day music festival held at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque on Dec. 9 and 10 was nothing short of success.

Despite the rainy weather, US-based music company 88rising welcomed the crowd back to a celebration of good music with a variety of performances from Filipino and foreign artists.

Thousands of attendees gathered for the much-awaited music festival which kicked off back in 2018. "Head in the Clouds" features Asian musicians performing all over the U.S. It is only this year that HITC fest was brought to Asia, first to Indonesia and finally to the Philippines.

More than 20 artists showcased their talent in this two-day music feast. Notable artists who performed were Joji, Niki, Rich Brian, Jessi and Jackson Wang. Local talent who took the stage included SB19, Ylona Garcia and Zack Tabudlo.

This highly-anticipated event did not disappoint as it was like an indication of things going back to normal, including the music and arts industry post-pandemic. It was a roaring welcome back to music, indeed.
