Operatives of Valenzuela City Police Station (VCPS) seized P1,530,000 worth of alleged shabu and arrested a man in a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Marulas in the city on Tuesday, Dec. 13.
Col. Salvador Destura Jr., VCPS chief, identified the suspect as Winrich Quizano, alias “John John,” 38, and a resident of Barangay 180, Caloocan City.
The VCPS Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the buy-bust operation against the suspect along 1st St., Brgy. Marulas at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The suspect yielded 225 grams of alleged shabu worth P1,530,000.
Also confiscated from the suspect were a cellphone, a black bag, and a Honda CLick 125 motorcycle.
A criminal complaint for violations of Sections 5 (Sale, Trading, Administration, Dispensation, Delivery, Distribution, and Transportation of Dangerous Drug and/or Controlled Precursors and Essential Chemicals) and 11 ( Possession of Dangerous Drugs) under Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspect, police said.
