Senior Deputy Speaker and former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is among the most astute and serious politicians you'll ever meet.
But that doesn't mean the Pampanga 2nd district congresswoman can't let her hair down once in a while and have fun.
Case in point: during the holiday gathering of the Association of Women Legislators Foundation, Inc. at the Houae of Representatives, Arroyo was seen wearing a headband with a big red bow while gamely bonding with her colleagues.
The party took place last Dec. 6. Tingog Party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, AWLFI chairperson, posted photos of the happy occasion on her Facebook Friday, Dec. 9.
Arroyo, also a former House Speaker, is president emeritus of the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) party.
The current speaker--Leyte 1st district Rep. Martin Romualdez--is the Lakas-CMD president. He is the husband of Tingog Rep. Romualdez.
Speaker Romualdez was present during the AWFLI party.
