4 drug suspects nabbed in Tagum City – PDEA


DAVAO CITY – A notorious drug pusher and three drug users were arrested in a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

Facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are Elizabeth Gonzales, alias ‘’Madam, ‘’ 59, resident of Barangay Magugpo South, Tagum City; a certain Rustom Agay, Christopher Avellera, and Jenne Boy Tostado.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 11 Director Aileen Lovitos said that the subject of the operation was Gonzales who was tagged as the owner of a drug den on Pioneer Ave. in Barangay Magugpo South.

Gonzales yielded five heat-sealing transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 10 grams worth P140,000.

Drug den visitors Agay, Avellera, and Tostado gave up 10 self-sealing transparent plastic sachets with suspected shabu weighing about 40 grams with a street value of P600,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.

PDEA-11 said the operation was conducted following a report from a concerned citizen confirmed by a thorough investigation.
