BACOLOD CITY -- An alleged member of a drug group was busted with 50 grams of suspected shabu worth P340,000 seized from him during a buy-bust at San Juan Tunga, Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday, Dec. 6.
Police identified the suspect as Joseph Pasigay, 45, of Barangay 5.
Lt. Ruby Aurita, public information officer of San Carlos City Police Station, said that Pasigay is a high value individual who’s been under monitoring for several months.
Aurita said that Pasigay would usually transfer from one place to another, making it difficult for police to operate on him.
Aurita said the suspect was previously arrested for a drug offense, and they are checking the status of his case.
Aurita added they received information that Pasigay reportedly got his drug supply outside the province.
