1,000 TUPAD beneficiaries in Pasay City to render community service


A total of 1,000 beneficiaries of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantage (TUPAD) program in Pasay will be deployed to barangays in the city to render community work.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the TUPAD program in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Pasay Employment and Services Office (PESO) conducted and orientation for 1,000 beneficiaries on Des. 3 at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Rubiano said the beneficiaries will be deployed to the nearest barangays where they are staying to render community work for 10 days.

She said the beneficiaries will receive P570 per day or a total of P5,700 for 10 days of work.

The mayor said the money that TUPAD beneficiaries will be receiving is a big help for their families this Christmas season.
