High-value female drug pusher, three others arrested in Sto. Tomas City buy-bust


BATANGAS -- A female drug pusher tagged as a high-value person was arrested after yielding P680,000 worth of shabu during a drug buy-bust operation on early morning of Tuesday, Nov. 29, in barangay Poblacion 2 in Sto. Tomas City, this province.

Batangas Police provincial director Col. Pedro Soliba identified the suspect as Akrima Pagador, 37, native of Madsayap, North Cotabato and a resident of Brgy. Bucal in Calamba City, Laguna.

Police confiscated about 100 grams of shabu with a street value of P680,000.

Police said that three other suspected drug pushers who were on the drug watch list of Sto. Tomas police were also arrested in two separate operations.

The arrested suspects were identified as Leo Villanueva and Rommelyn Afavart who were arrested also in Poblacion 2, while the only other suspect who was identified as Marino Brazil, was nabbed in Barangay Sta. Clara, also in this city.

Police found 1.3 grams of shabu from Brazil.

The pieces of evidence were brought to Batangas Provincial Forensic Unit for examination while the suspects will be charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act.

“Tuloy-tuloy ang pagsupil ng ating kapulisan sa iligal na droga. Higit po naming kailangan ang inyong kooperasyon para maging drug-free ang ating komunidad,” said Soliba.

“Ipagbigay alam ang anumang impormasyon hinggil sa mga iligal na gawain o mga taong sangkot dito. Tayo po ay patuloy na magtulungan para sa kaayusan, kapayapaan at kaunlaran,” added Soliba.
