Police net P1-M shabu in Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Suspected shabu valued at P1 million was confiscated from two drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in a motel in Zamboanga City last Sunday, Nov. 27.

Col. Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City acting police director, identified the suspects as Al-Hammad Alih Ahadain, alias ‘’Santi,’’ 41, an electrician; and Jessel Patiarba Tumacmol, alias ‘’Jess,’’ 38, unemployed.

Police arrested the duo after they sold shabu to a poseur-buyer.

Suspects, considered as high-value drug targets, yielded 150 grams of shabu with a standard drug price of P1.02 million, a cellular phone, and boodle money.

They are now under the custody of Zamboanga City Police Station 11 while the illegal drug was sent to the PNP Crime Laboratory.
