LOOK: European envoy visits Speaker Romualdez

House Speaker Martin Romualdez received on Monday, Nov.28 Republic of Belarus Ambassador to the Philippines, His Excellency Valery Kolesnik during the latter's courtesy call.

After exchanging pleasantries, Romualdez and Kolesnik discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the Philippines and Belarus with hopes of opening more opportunities to collaborate on various areas, such as on agriculture.

The House leader took the opportunity to thank the government and the people of Belarus for extending their warm hospitality to Filipinos living and working in Belarus.

Kolesnik was also joined by Viktar Borisyonok, attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Indonesia; and Anna Marie Ablan, honorary consul of the Republic of Belarus in Manila.

Meanwhile, Inter-Parliamentary Relations and Special Affairs Bureau Executive Director Lourdes Rajini Rye together with Protocol and Special Affairs Service
