Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos posted an Instagram story calling out those who made a bogus "quote card" of him that has been making rounds on social media.

The quote card basically contains his likeness as well as a statement being attributed to him wherein he supposedly advised Filipinos to use white onions if red onions are too expensive.
A former congressman who picked up the quote card and shared it on Twitter insinuated that it was insensitive.
The glaring problem is, Marcos never said such thing.

"More fake news, never said this or gave any interview," the presidential son and House senior deputy majority leader said in his Instagram story.
"Try harder guys," added the 28-year-old Marcos, referring to his detractors and the creators of fake news.
